After enduring extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, of the past three Foxy Figures, in 2021 we moved our contest to the somewhat milder climate of Redlands, on the eastern edge of the Los Angeles Basin. Starting a new contest was not without its challenges — we’re looking at you, kangaroo rat! — but the REI airport turned out to be a lovely venue with lots of community support. We had a decent turnout despite some last minute cancellations, the flying was quite competitive in many categories, and we do believe a fun time was had by all who attended.
